Twitter Inc is launching a faster version and the company calls the version as Twitter Lite and it will be aimed largely at users outside the United States. Facebook Inc also released Facebook Lite in 2015. The primary reason is the standard version consumes a lot of data and in order to drop the data consumption. It is mainly optimized for slower connections. Users will see their average data consumption on the browser version go down 40 percent and the company said it expects Twitter Lite to be most useful.
